Over 300 racers made their way to the Glade for the opening of the Atlantic CMRC Spring Series on Saturday May 4th. The day started out with some cool temperatures, it was only 4 degrees during practice, however, by the afternoon it had warmed to beautiful 18 degrees. It was a very successful start to the Atlantic CMRC Spring Motocross Series.

Hindle Exhaust Systems is proud to offer a contingency program that will include over $40,000.00 in awards for the 2013 CMRC Pro National series.

From the huge success we had last year with the series we hope you are all as excited as we are for the up coming moto season. At the end of the series we will have a few Individual Awards to give out:

Schrader’s Hard Charger Award- $200.00 Awarded to the competitor with the “never-give up” attitude; who has fought to overcome and succeed over challenges throughout the series.

Cycle North Most Improved Rider Award- $200.00 Awarded to the competitor who has consistently improved their skills from the previous years, stood out, and worked hard to achieve their goals.

LimeNine Speed & Style Award – A set of 20 mil custom shrouds and matching backgrounds ($250.00 value) Awarded to the rider with the gnarliest riding style! If you can throw down like a champ, you’re gonna have to look like a champ!

The Turner Family will be donating a Championship Ring to the Women’s West Canadian Champion!

 For those of you who don’t know, we had a close friend from our moto family pass away last year. The rest of his family is still very involved in motocross, with his sister Charity looking to compete in the Women’s Series again this year. Carline & Gary Bachman were ever so kind enough to donate $1,000.00 to our series purse from the Lucas Bachman Memorial Fund. They want the money going to something he would want to be a part of, and Carline stated it best when she said “Lucas loved girls”.

 If you haven’t seen the Bracelets we had made “Supporting Women’s MX” or the desk top and wall calendars we are making be sure to pick some up at any of the 3 Women’s West Rounds. We will have a booth set up on the Saturday Amateur Day & Sunday Pro Day of each Round. Bracelets are $5.00 desk top calendars are $10.00, and wall calendars are $20.00. All of the profits will be going towards our West Series Purse.

  Last, but not least, the 2013 Women’s West Series is presented by TRIM FX! We wanted to step it up this year by looking more professional, so with the help of TRIM FX we will have BIG Cheques to hand out for our Holeshot Awards, Individual Awards, and we will have a sponsor background for our booth. Well the 2012 Atlantic Region race season has come to a close. The last two rounds of the series proved to be tough ones, with mother nature opening the skies up after one of our hottest driest summers in history. Mt. Thom MX had its debut round in the Atlantic points series and proved it is one of the best and most fun tracks to ever join the series. The long up hills and big floating jumps made for some excellent racing in all of the classes. The rain came the night before ,which made practice and the first set of motos a little wet, but by the end of the day the track was dialled.

The CMRC, Canada’s premier and only truly National racing organization, is proud to announce the 2012 Canada Cup ATVMX CMRC Fall Series. Now in its 5th season, the series will consist of 4 rounds at arguably some of the best tracks Ontario has to offer. Overall winners from each class will be crowned as Canada’s best in their respective classes at the final event; in addition, the top 5 in each class will be recognized.

A riding area in the greater Vancouver area has been sorely missed for a long time but luckily, the crew at Popkum Motor Park( www.popkummotorpark.com ), just east of Chilliwack, stepped up huge in 2012, investing half a million dollars in putting together the place that was so badly needed in the third most populated area in Canada.

Heidi Cooke dominated at Gopher Dunes, and going into Round2 at Ste Julie, the new mom was looking to repeat the show, and she did. Going 1-1, Cooke added another 50 points to her name, while Kristen Mac Donald was pushed into second, going 2-3 edging out Alexandra Raymond whose 4-2 finish was good enough for third overall.

For Round 4 of the CMRC Monster Energy Pro Motocross Nationals, the show move north to Edmonton's Castrol Raceway and started right where it left off after round 3 with Matt Goerke and Bobby Kiniry battling for top spot in the MX1 class and Teddy Maier looking unbeatable in MX2.
