The Atlantic CMRC Motocross Spring Series begins at Riverglade Motocross Park
Over 300 racers made their way to the Glade for the opening of the Atlantic CMRC Spring Series on Saturday May 4th. The day started out with some cool temperatures, it was only 4 degrees during practice, however, by the afternoon it had warmed to beautiful 18 degrees. It was a very successful start to the Atlantic CMRC Spring Motocross Series.

David Estabrooks Blog: SPONSORSHIP “HOW TO”
Well it's been a while since I have done up a blog, I hope everybody has had a good winter. During the off season for MX riding it is hard to think of things besides the obvious AMA Supercross/Arenacross, going to Florida, and the ever large preseason bills that seem to keep piling up. So I am writing this blog to talk about something that all riders, especially the up and coming riders, can learn from. I am going to talk about one of the most important, yet usually overlooked, aspects of our sport, sponsorship.
WRAP IT UP
Well the 2012 Atlantic Region race season has come to a close. The last two rounds of the series proved to be tough ones, with mother nature opening the skies up after one of our hottest driest summers in history. Mt. Thom MX had its debut round in the Atlantic points series and proved it is one of the best and most fun tracks to ever join the series. The long up hills and big floating jumps made for some excellent racing in all of the classes. The rain came the night before ,which made practice and the first set of motos a little wet, but by the end of the day the track was dialled.
Labour Day at Strang's MX
Sept.2, 2012 took the Atlantic Region to Strangs MX Park in Port Elgin NB. My fiancée Nichole and I decided to take advantage of some time off and headed for the track at lunch time on Friday. We were not the only racers that decided to take advantage of the long weekend and nice weather, while on route we hooked up with one of my team riders Logan Gallant and his buddy Justin Mackinnon and started the racer convoy to Strangs MX Park.
The Nations Best
August 5th weekend brought the CMRC Monster Energy Nationals to the farthest round east to Riverglade Speedway in New Brunswick. We arrived at the track Thursday night to start to assemble the teams pit area for the weekend. The weather forecast was indicating this national was going to be a scorcher with weather reports projecting 38 degrees on Sunday! Track owners were already hard at work prepping the track including the new GP style section for Saturday’s amateur day and putting the finishing touches around the course for Nationals.
Bringing in the Summer
Well the last two rounds of the CMRC Atlantic MX Spring Series have come to an end here on the East Coast with two amazing weekends on two of our premier tracks in the Atlantic Region. The second last round took place only 40 minutess from my home in Brookfield N.S. at Mitch Cooke's Pleasant Valley MX. The last round of the series saw most riders make the trip across the water to Prince Edward Island, this is our only stop on the island in 2012 however it is host to one of the most amazing tracks on the circuit.
GOTTA LOVE THE EAST COAST
Well Round 3 of the Atlantic Motocross Series took place last weekend at the Riverglade MX in New Brunswick. Once again the racers woke up to a beautiful track prepped by the crew, and the light rain we received Saturday made conditions absolutely sick. The weather was saying we could expect some rain but it seemed we were going to get away with a good day.

SPUDS, MUD, AND EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN
Round 2 of our Atlantic series took place at Strangs MX Park in Port Elgin NB. This facility is one of the best here on the East Coast; the track is well built and has owners, Richard, David and Devon Strang, who really care about maintaining it and making it successful. They're farmers, so there is nothing they don’t know about the soil and their Potato farm machinery keeps the track in awesome condition.
