Yoshimura Suzuki Racing has signed Supercross and Motocross Champion James Stewart to a multi-year contract effective immediately.

Stewart will compete in both AMA Pro Motocross and Supercross aboard the Yoshimura Suzuki RM-Z450 beginning with the first round of the 2012 AMA Pro Motocross Championship in Sacramento, California on May 19th.

            Heidi Cooke might be one of the most famous Canadian women riders, and with son Talon in the world, Cooke is set on the Eastern Women's title. The new mom is looking forward to the challenge aboard her Freedom Cycle Kawasaki.

“I’m pretty disappointed right now,” said Villopoto. “I have trained hard for this season and even though I won the supercross title, I really wanted to defend my outdoor championship. I’ve been through injury before and I know how hard I have to work to get back.”
 
Villopoto is coming off of a dominant 16 months where the Poulsbo, Wash. native earned two AMA Supercross titles on the strength of 15 wins, the AMA Motocross Championship with three wins and also the richest payday in supercross with a million dollar win at the Monster Energy Cup.

The Yamaha/Machine Racing team is gearing up for another competative season, with Kyle Keast representing the team in motocross and Brian Wojnarowski in enduros and off road. Both riders are known for being dedicated racers and fierce competitors. I got a chance to talk to the two blue bike riders

The opening round of the KTM RIDE ORANGE Moto Tour 2012 (Canadian edition!) kicked off last Sunday in beautiful Agassiz, BC. We’re happy to say that the event went off without a hitch … well, there were a few small ones but nothing that the Moto Tour team couldn’t overcome.
