Irvine, CA (May 16, 2012) – X Games 18 Enduro X has issued invitations to five more riders after announcing their pre-qualified list of riders and the qualification process a few weeks ago. The top two non-qualified finishes of the opening round of the GEICO AMA EnduroCross series in Las Vegas on May 4th earned their spots, including Canadians Cory Graffunder (HSQ) and Chantelle Bykerk (KTM)

Well with the first race only a couple weeks away all of the team's race bikes are complete. After a lot of time and dedication we were able to sit back and say they are done. On April 29^th Pro Cycle hosted their annual customer appreciation day. Wide Open took this opportunity to debut all of the team's new bikes and spend some time talking with the public to help promote Pro Cycle, our sport, and our team.

Kevin Cockayne Race Report –Round #1 of WEC Cross Country Series – Apex MotoPark Cross Country The opening round of the 2012 WEC Cross Country Championship kicked off at MotoPark near Chatsworth,ON. Sunny skys and moderate temperatures set the stage for a great race through the rugged rocks of Motopark.

Wardlow, AB: The Alberta Dirt Rider’s Association 2012 season kicked off this past Sunday at the base of the Rocky Mountains, where Riviere’s Revenge threads through the foothills and valleys. Clint Riviere hosts the event, which is made up of a variety of man made obstacles, grass track, hillsides, tight trees and creek crossings.

Wardlow AB - Round one of the Gieco EnduroCross Series is in the books, taking place at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. CGRT’s Shane Cuthbertson was there to challenge himself after training hard prior to the season, last years Vet Am #3 felt very confident going to Las Vegas, confident enough to compete in both Open Amateur and Pro classes.

Sunstar 2012 GNCC Racer Updates

    Round One of the 2012 Wiesner Insurance Ontario Cross Country Championship Presented by Apex Cycle / KTM took place this past weekend under perfect weather and course conditions. The Pro podium was dominated by KTM mounted riders with Josh Long taking the win followed by Kevin Cockayne in second and Greg Filer in third. All these Pros received their share of the pro purse taking home cash for their Pro efforts.

So, my first race is officially in the books, and I achieved one of my goals: I finished better at the Mini Pine this year than I had at the Great Pine Last year. I went from a 3rd to a 2nd. Yeah, it's still Ladies' B, and I didn't get a trophy, but it's still something to be proud about. And I got a pretty nasty scratch on my back, probably from rolling onto a stick while stuck under my bike. (You did read the "B" part, right?)
