Team Canada MX Chairman, Andre Laurin, has announced Steve Dool, of MXRanking, as Fundraising Chair. Dool will be in charge of coordinating all of the fundraising efforts, including the Industry, Patron and Supporter programs. New for this year will is "the 300" and Enthusiast programs. Each sponsorship program has a set level of donations, ranging from $25 to $3000+, opening up donation possibilities for everyone. "After all," said Dool. "It is Canada's team; it should be something we can all be proud of."

Dool brings a wealth of experience to the program, with over 25 years business experience and 5 years as a promoter for the MX101 team. In 2011 he started MXRanking. Prior to joining the business and promotions side of the industry, Dool was a motorcycle tech, and raced in Ontario until the late 1970s.

Team Canada MX will soon be accepting donations via PayPal, Visa and MasterCard on their new, dedicated, support page on MXRanking.com.

TeamCanadaMXlogo“I’m really looking forward to contributing to Team Canada MX this year and in the future," said Dool. "I hope we can raise the much needed funds to get the riders, their mechanics, as well as a pit presentation that all Canadians can be proud of at this year’s MXON.”

It is not cheap to get bikes, riders and support over to Europe. We're talking upwards of $2000 per rider, never mind support crew costs. Team Canada MX is a not for profit organization, and their structure is designed to provide funds for travel and shipping expenses for riders and their mechanics. They also help provide Canada's pit presence at the track.

Racing at the MXON is not about winning a big purse; our riders race with no earnings on the line. It's all about representing your country; a badge of pride. Please help send our riders to Europe!
