The Lucas OIl Pro Motocross Championship made its first-ever stop to Muddy Creek Raceway in Blountville, Tenn. and the huge crowd witnessed great racing in both the 450MX and 250MX classes.

Irvine, Calif. (May 26, 2013) – At the foot of the Rocky Mountains, Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto battled to keep his moto win streak alive by finishing 1-1 at the Thunder Valley National in Lakewood, Colo. Villopoto has a perfect 100 points after the first two rounds. Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki’s Tyla Rattray finished in the top 10 for the second week in a row in eighth place, while Dean Wilson followed close behind in 10th overall. Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Jake Weimer overcame a crash to finish 14th. In the 250 class Blake Baggett fought hard to finish fifth and was joined by teammate Martin Davalos in seventh and Justin Hill in 12th.
Monster Energy’s Ryan Villopoto made a big statement at the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship Series season opener at the Hangtown National, winning both motos by over 20 seconds. After a year hiatus from the series due to injury, Villopoto made it known that he is ready to claim another motocross championship, taking the coveted red plate to Round 2.
Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto joins an elite group of riders after clinching his third-consecutive Monster Energy Supercross Championship, Saturday night. Villopoto secured the title by earning his ninth win of the season at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City. He joins supercross legends Bob Hannah, Jeremy McGrath, and Ricky Carmichael as the only riders to win three straight supercross championships. The Washington native overcame a points deficit as high as 27 points at the beginning of the season, but knocked off five straight wins to take over the points lead.
In a racing discipline that has seen exponential growth, Monster Energy Kawasaki is prepared to battle for a championship in the 2013 AMA EnduroCross series. Returning riders Taylor Robert and Justin Soulé both reached the podium last season and will concentrate exclusively on EnduroCross in 2013 racing the KX™250F.
Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto led the most laps on Saturday night but had to settle for second place as Monster Energy Supercross invaded the Metrodome in Minneapolis. The runner-up finish marks the eighth consecutive race that Villopoto has finished second or better. His teammate Jake Weimer got bottled up on the start and finished 12th. In the 250SX class, Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki’s Tyler Bowers put in another impressive run finishing fifth.
Monster Energy’s Ryan Villopoto led every lap on his way to his fifth-straight victory at Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas. As with every win so far this season, Villopoto increased his championship lead to 21 points with four races remaining in the Monster Energy Supercross Season.
