Eve Broduer Walton Race Report

Last week was the Canadian National championship, the Walton Transcan.  After the Sand Del Lee’s race where Eve placed second, we drove directly to Walton for the Tuesday move-in day. Eve was pretty confident going in and felt a top 5 overall at the end of the week was in reach. After Tuesdays practice session we knew that If she kept it on 2 wheels she could even break the top 3.

Eve Brodeur Race Report

From Eve Brodeur Racing -

July 29th to August 4th was the Loretta Lynn Amateur National Championship, Eve was competing in the Supermini Girls 12-15 class. Coming back from an arm injury and having no practice at all on her supermini in the last month and a half, Eve showed up unprepared and the week didn’t go as planned.

From Eve Brodeur -

After breaking her arm at a provencial race back in June, Eve Brodeur wasted no time in getting back in the swing of things for the Gopher Dune rounds. Despite not being able to ride or train for the last 3 weeks, Eve didn't want to miss the first round of the Eastern Canadian Pro Women National. Practice went ok but it clearly showed that timing and shape were not up to par. Eve started in around 8th place at the start of the first moto and quickly moved up to 5 on lap 2, and was putting pressure on #114 around mid race forcing her into a mistake to take 4th place, where she stayed up until the checkered flag.

Eastern Women's Series Round 1 Results

After an incredibly successful series in the west where a new champion, Hailey Larson, beat out former champs Denaye Giroux and Shelby Turner for the #1w plate, the Women's series comes east where the fierce competition between heavy favourites Heidi Cooke and Cocelyn Facciotti confronts the fast competition by way of Renee Riendeau and Eve Brodeur.

Irvine, CA (July 10, 2012) – The 2012 GEICO AMA EnduroCross Championship already includes a five round series for women. Those five rounds were strategically selected to avoid conflicts with other major race series and allow all of the top female riders to compete for the championship. Due to popular demand from both riders and fans, a women’s class will be added to the three events that did not already include it; Ontario, California, Denver, Colorado and Everett Washington. They will be non-points awarding events but will allow female riders to compete in their own class. Ten participants are necessary for a separate race, just like the other classes.

Not Just a Pretty Face

Felicia Robichaud is more than just another girl on a dirt bike. Robichaud has the talent, the drive and moves to make a big splash. Leading the School Boy and Ladies' A class in the FMSQ, the high school student recently made the trip to the 2 Days in June event hosted by Offroad Ontario, to take second in the Intermediate class, challenging the wisdom of using the words "Ride like a Girl" as anything but a compliment.

Finishing exams, she took time out of her busy schedule to talk to Inside MotoX & Off Road and play 20 Questions with us! Enjoy!
