Tough Night in LA For TLD / Lucas Oil / Honda
If you had said at the beginning of the night that Cole Seely and Travis Baker would end up 15th and 20th, respectively, in the main event it would have seemed very unlikely. Cole Seely won the opening round and has been on the leaders pace from the onset and Baker has been consistent and pushing for a breakout ride. But sometimes racing can be brutal.
Seely and Baker Stay Consistent in Phoenix
Coming into round two with the points lead and the red plate, Cole Seely and the TLD team were looking for another win in Arizona. But in a class that is stacked with talent, sometimes you have to take what you can get. While both riders were kept off the podium, they were both consistent and earned solid points heading back to Los Angeles next week.
Christian Craig to Undergo Wrist Surgery
Christian Craig will miss much of the remaining supercross series to repair a broken wrist. The scaphoid bone (navicular) in his left wrist was fractured at the Southwick National and he had surgery to screw the broken bone. Unfortunately, the bone never healed properly and he will have to have it corrected.
