CANADIAN MOTOCROSS TAKES ANOTHER HIT: CMA

The Canadian Motorcycle Association reluctantly announces that, despite having a signed agreement with Canadian Independent Motocross (CIMX), the CMA BC motocross series announced on February 4th will not take place.

Valcourt, Québec, February 20, 2013 – Team JB Off Road Racing / Can-Am® pilot Kyle Chaney won the 2013 UTV Rally Raid Northern Series opening event in Oliver Springs, Tenn., earning the first official victory in organized competition with the new Can-Am Maverick™ 1000R X® rs side-by-side vehicle. Chaney pulled a commanding lead over the field of more than 30 entries to win not only the series' premier unlimited C class, but also the overall event victory at the four-hour day / night race held at Windrock Park.

With less than 4 weeks remaining to the opening round of the first ever Future West BC Motocross Championship at the revamped Eagle Motorplex in Ashcroft on March 17th preparations are well underway.
HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (Feb. 21, 2013) – Kyle Chisholm will join the Toyota/Yamaha/JGRMX Team beginning this Saturday for round eight of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship in Atlanta, Ga.  Chisholm, already riding a Yamaha in the series will substitute for Josh Grant.

MotoConcepts Racing: Arlington SX Report

SPOKANE, WA (February 18, 2013) - MotoConcepts Racing by Smartop rolled into the Arlington Supercross in Texas for the seventh round of the AMA 450 Supercross and the first round of the 250 East Coast series.  Under the MotoConcepts Racing was a new rider, hand-picked by Team Owner Mike Genova making his debut race for the team, Gavin Faith.

Velocity 3 Yamaha - Arlington SX Report

Chicopee, MA (February 19, 2013) - After six rounds, the AMA Supercross moved from the West Coast to Texas for round 7 sat Cowboy Stadium in Arlington. Velocity 3 Yamaha would be down a rider as Kyle Chisholm (#11), who crashed the previous week in San Diego, was forced to sit out with lingering injuries.  As the sole rider for the weekend, the pressure was placed upon V3R teammate Bobby Kiniry.

STEWART LOOKS FORWARD TO ATLANTA SX

Yoshimura Suzuki Factory Racing's James Stewart turned in a stellar ride and took the win in his heat race at round seven of the AMA/ FIM World Supercross Championships in Arlington, Texas on Saturday night. But as the Yoshimura Suzuki rider was poised to fight for the win in the 450 class Main Event he suffered another bout of bad luck.

DESALLE AND SUZUKI WIN AT VALENCE MX

Rockstar Energy Suzuki's Clement Desalle raced the new 2013 World MX1 factory RM-Z450 Suzuki to victory at today's Valence International Motocross in France - the final pre-season event before the World Motocross Championship season gets underway at Qatar next month.

Graham Jarvis has become the most successful rider ever at the infamous Hell’s Gate Hard Enduro event. Delivering a dominant performance to secure victory at the 10th running of the race, Jarvis notched up a third consecutive win finishing comfortably ahead of Jonny Walker with Cody Webb third.

Red Bull KTM factory rider Jonny Walker overcame the fatigue from the after effects of a virulent stomach bug to finish second in the notorious Hells Gate Extreme Enduro on Saturday in Italy. Despite being ill, Walker led the time sheet in the morning stages but had to concede victory to Husaberg rider Graham Jarvis in the evening.
