2012 KX450
By Jeff Morgan and Brad Coles
Much like its little brother, the KX450F has had its share of trips to the winner’s circle, most recently as Ryan Villopoto piloted it to AMA Motocross and Supercross championships in 2011. Kawasaki has won a ton of titles over the years, and when teams start with a package like this, it is little wonder why.
The KX450F is chock-full of new technology and new ideas that are bred on the racetrack. Part of the advantage of being a factory racer is the level of adjustability that can be incorporated onto your bike. Race teams spend thousands of dollars fitting their bikes to individual riders, but to the average person that level of customization is just not attainable. Until now.
Alpinestars A-10
Alpinestars A-10
Over the past few years, neck braces have become a staple part of a rider’s safety equipment, but making a chest protector work in conjunction with them was sometimes a challenge, or flat out impossible. So, riders were forced to choose whether they wanted to protect their necks or their chests. Not any longer.
Knowing that this might be a problem, Alpinestars set out to design a system that would work with their Bionic Neck Support (BNS) without compromising comfort and safety. At long last, the A-10 is here.
