Dual Sport Plus is hosting its annual open house this Saturday, April 6 at their store in Stoney Creek, ON. The adventure riding outfitter will welcome the public and industry to their 221 Barton St. location from 9am-4pm. Always a fun and educational day, this year's event will include reps from Arai, Shoei, Sidi, Scott, Powerlet and Edward Wilkinson, lead designer of Klim's motorcycle line. BIG EAR will also be on hand making custom ear plugs on-site.

From the huge success we had last year with the series we hope you are all as excited as we are for the up coming moto season. Cycle North Most Improved Rider Award- $200.00 Awarded to the competitor who has consistently improved their skills from the previous years, stood out, and worked hard to achieve their goals.

LimeNine Speed & Style Award – A set of 20 mil custom shrouds and matching backgrounds ($250.00 value) Awarded to the rider with the gnarliest riding style! If you can throw down like a champ, you’re gonna have to look like a champ!

The Turner Family will be donating a Championship Ring to the Women’s West Canadian Champion!

 For those of you who don’t know, we had a close friend from our moto family pass away last year. The rest of his family is still very involved in motocross, with his sister Charity looking to compete in the Women’s Series again this year. Carline & Gary Bachman were ever so kind enough to donate $1,000.00 to our series purse from the Lucas Bachman Memorial Fund. They want the money going to something he would want to be a part of, and Carline stated it best when she said “Lucas loved girls”.

 If you haven’t seen the Bracelets we had made “Supporting Women’s MX” or the desk top and wall calendars we are making be sure to pick some up at any of the 3 Women’s West Rounds. We will have a booth set up on the Saturday Amateur Day & Sunday Pro Day of each Round. Bracelets are $5.00 desk top calendars are $10.00, and wall calendars are $20.00.   Last, but not least, the 2013 Women’s West Series is presented by TRIM FX! The Canadian Motorcycle Association reluctantly announces that, despite having a signed agreement with Canadian Independent Motocross (CIMX), the CMA BC motocross series announced on February 4th will not take place.

My name is Mike Kelly, and I have been the co-ordinator of Canada's team at the ISDE (International Six Days of Enduro, also known as the Olympics of motorcycling) for the last three years, and have attended the event as part of the volunteer support crew more than 20 times.

Many great riders have left their mark in Canadian motocross but there are a few out there who have had their accomplishments overshadowed. One of those unsung heroes is a present day CR500 rider who now lives in Ottawa. He’s 43 years old and still has the edge on many of the riders in the Pro class. His story is incredible - a Canadian Success Story untold for over 25 years.

Last week-end was the AMA Worcester, MA, Arenacross. Eve raced in the supermini support class both Friday and Saturday night programs and in the Girls and Womens class on amateur day.

Tuesday November 6, 2012. St-Bruno, QC – KTM is showing no signs of letting up the throttle in Canadian off-road racing. Their latest move comes in the addition of 2012 E1 Canadian Enduro Champion Philippe Chaine. The calm and cool rider is now racing a 2013 KTM 250 XC-F, with direct support from KTM Canada.

Tuesday November 6th, 2012. St-Bruno, QC – After winning his second straight Expert championship in the La Fédération des Motocyclistes de sentiers du Québec (FMSQ), Loic Leonard is already preparing to make it three-in-a-row!

Tuesday October 23, 2012. St-Bruno, QC – The opening round of the KTM Canadian Arenacross Championships in Cloverdale, BC proved to be a great learning experience for young Jeremy Medaglia.

Going into the weekend, the KTM Red Bull Royal Distributing Fox Racing rider had limited experience in the tight confines of arenacross. Even though Medaglia is a Montreal Supercross MX2 winner, that race is bigger and faster, while arenacross is much tighter and more intense. Cloverdale wouldn’t come easy for Medaglia; he suffered bad luck on night one and had to earn it—which he did with two podiums on Saturday. As usual, the feisty rider keeps it dramatic!
