A week ago Sunday Yamaha/Machine Racing rider Kyle Keast was practicing at the indoor track when a high side forced him to put a hold on his training regime.

"Yeah, basically I just high sided coming out of a double," the ever positive Machine racer admitted.

Originally doctors thought the injury was a sprain from when the bike pinned his ankle, but on a second look, the x-rays showed a break.

"I'm hoping to get in for surgery and then it'll be 4 to 6 weeks before I can get back to it," the current #4 plate holder said with a shrug.

Don't think that this injury has Keast sitting on the couch. "My trainer will keep me busy," he says. "I'm sure he'll have some ways around the ankle to keep my cardio going."
