Our mascot, Ricky the Duck, has been enjoying all the Moto action and a fresh supply of well water in his pond. Happy in his watery home, fully replenished, our little quacker likes bread, and is quite friendly; feel free to feed the little guy in our central pond!
Our last 4 summer camps of the year start August 6 and conclude with our Snocross Boot Camp the week of August 27. We do have a modified program for motocrossers that week as well for those that want the intensity of the Physical Training that is the Boot Camp. August 12 Motopark’s hosting a CMX race. The mini track will be open for practice from 9 to 2 on Saturday the 11th and the main track will close at 4 p.m. For more info go to www.cmxracing.ca
The Steel City Riders will hold their annual closed to club event on Saturday and Sunday August 25 and 26. Practice hours on Friday will be as above. The event is closed to Steel City members only and the park will be closed to practice riders that weekend. For more information you can contact them through their website at www.steelcityriders.ca
