WEC regrets to inform that due to excessive rainfall in Meaford over the past two days, the course that was in perfect condition and set to go is now in a state that may not be easily passable by small motorcycles. It is critical that the Mini Enduro events in this championship be passable by even the smallest bikes and the most novice of riders. Having a fun and an enjoyable introduction to off-road motorcycle competition is the very nature of these events.

Photos from Round 4 of the CECs

Recovery time is over. The Royal Distributing Canadian Enduro Championships were a big success, no small part due to the dedication of volunteers and the passion of the riders at the events. Trudy Elder provided some amazing shots for Inside MotoX & Offroad's website. The name might seem familiar as her husband, Brad, suffered a terrible crash. We were all shocked when we heard what had happened; this was by far the most serious injury at the series to date. Keeping in touch with local know it all, Lee Fryberger, IMX is assured that Brad is on his way to recovery, and with a big sigh of relief, we post his wife's goregous photos and wish him a safe, speedy and complete recovery.

We are less than a week away from the start of the 2012 Royal Distributing Canadian Enduro Championship.  Now in its fourth year the highly successful Championship is on its way to creating Canadian motorcycling history. Never before has an off-road championship traveled across Canada and become the acknowledged true test of Canada’s best off-road riders in such a short period of time. The main reasons being the CEC’s standardized format is easy to understand, is attractive to new and younger riders, does not require the competitor’s motorcycles to have a license plate or specific insurance and is a fair and level playing field unlike other previous championships.
