With just two races left on the Lites East schedule, Barcia holds a strong 32-point lead over second-place Blake Wharton. To wrap up the title Barcia just needs to leave New Orleans with a 25-point cushion, which equates to a finish of fourth place or better in the Big Easy. His average finish this season has been 1.4, and he hasn't finished off the podium since 2010.

TwoTwo Motorsports is pleased to announce the signing of former world champion and multiple AMA race winner Ben Townley to contest its 2012 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship campaign.

With team owner and rider Chad Reed sidelined as he recovers from his AMA Supercross injury, the team sought a rider that could race competitively at the head of the 450 class while assisting in the ongoing development of the Honda CRF450 motorcycle.

Bon Voyage Blackfoot

So many things come to mind when you think of Blackfoot. For years they have been the team to beat in Canadian moto and whether you like the idea of a dynasty or not, you can't argue with the success that they have had. As a team they have been responsible for launching, rescuing and improving so many careers.

Most Canadian moto fans will have their own unique memories of Blackfoot, whether it is a certain rider, a particular bike, a special moment or any other number of possibilities. Blackfoot played a large part in bringing exposure to Canadian motocross and increasing the level of competition. You can't win that many championships and not force other teams to try and emulate your success.

Nathan Bles to MPH/WMXTREME HONDA for 2012 Season

Newmarket ON – The MPH/WMXTREME Pro Services Honda team is pleased to announce the official signing of Varna, Ontario rider Nathan Bles. Nathan will be aboard an all new Honda CRF250R and will take on all the east coast nationals as well as select AMA events throughout the United States for the duration of the 2012 season.
