Kevin Cockayne made his racing debut on the KTM 350XCF after riding a 2-stroke for many years. Picking up where he left off from last year KC hooked up off the line and took the Weiser Insurance Holeshot award. From there KC led early before having some trouble with arm pump and dropping back to 3rd position behind Josh Long and Greg Filer. Once Kevin settled in he caught back up to 2nd position and maintained a consistent gap on Long and began to close it up towards the end of the race. Unfortunately it was too late and Long took the win, followed by Cockayne and Filer. An all-orange podium!
