From Eve Brodeur;

Last weekend was the 2nd round of the Eastern Canadian Women National.  Eve was really looking forward to this race as she had been the fastest Women on the track when they had the provincial series race in May. Unfortunately it didn’t go as planned. Her timing and aggression were not where it should have been since it was only her 3rd time on the bike since she broke her arm a month ago.

Eve suffer a bad start in moto 1, exiting the first turn in around 12 place. She was able to move up to 5th by the end of the race.

She started in 6th place in the second moto and was in an intense battle for 3rd place when Eve and Chloe Poncia-Myre went down hard on a jump. She was able to remount but was in last place and made a charge in the last couple of lap to finish in 18th place.

Not the type of weekend she was looking for, but Eve is looking to rebound next week as she will be participating at the biggest amateur race in the world, the AMA Loretta Lynn’s national championship in Tennessee. Her goal is for a top 10 but she will have to step up her game as she will be competing against the fastest girls in America.

Next step will be Sand-Del-Lee for the last round of the Women Canadian National, then we’re off to Walton for the Canadian Amateur National.

Eve would like to thanks  her sponsors for their continuous support: Motovan.com, Forma Boots, OCS Suspension, Duroy Racing, KTM Canada, Langelier Racing team, Kutvek Amerika, and Ride Engineering.
