Round 7 - Riverglade

The weekend started out a bit rough for me; I struggled to even put together one solid lap in practice and qualifying.  Not sure what the cause of my issues were rather than me being a head case. 

Luckily, when the gate dropped, I seemed to overcome my setbacks and ended up with a top 5 start. Down the first straight away a rock managed to make its way in between my goggles and helmet splitting my face open above my lip.  After a couple laps the blood stopped, and I figured I could manage to finish the moto for some points, and in turn worked my way back up to 13th. 

I lined up for moto two and had another good start.  On lap two roost blew open my wound again and continued to bleed everywhere.  I rode consistent enough to stay in 12th place. 

Overall on the day I scored a 12th, and now sit 16th in the series.
