Dungey Scores 4th Win of 2012 Monster Energy Supercross Season at Season Finale in Las Vegas
SALT LAKE CITY (May 5, 2012) – Red Bull KTM’s Ryan Dungey, of Belle Plaine, Minn., won his fourth Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, race tonight in front of a sold-out crowd of 39,509 at Sam Boyd Stadium. After leading wire-to-wire, GEICO Honda’s Justin Barcia, of Ochlocknee, Ga., won the final stop of the Eastern Regional Supercross Lites Class Championship. Barcia’s teammate Eli Tomac, of Cortez, Colo., also led all 15 laps of the Western Regional Supercross Lites Class Main Event, winning his fifth race of the season.
Dungey Bounces Back After Crash to Win Third Monster Energy Supercross
SALT LAKE CITY (April 28, 2012) – Red Bull KTM’s Ryan Dungey of Belle Plaine, Minn., captured the third Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, win of the season tonight at Rice-Eccles Stadium in front of 40,548 fans. En route to winning his fourth Main Event of the year, GEICO Honda’s Eli Tomac clinched the first Western Regional Supercross Lites Class Championship of his career.
Monster Energy Supercross Results, Round #11
Ryan Villopoto holds on for his sixth win of the year, beating out Justin Brayton and Davi Millsaps. Brett Metcalfe made his first heat win at Indianapolis, but was only able to pull a 4th place overall and Lites West rider Cole Seeley rounds out the top five. Even after being out for two rounds, Ryan Dungey remains 2nd, with Stewart in 3rd, Millsaps in 4th and Windham in 5th.
RYAN DUNGEY OUT FOR DAYTONA
Murrieta, CA – KTM Motorsports is saddened to report that Red Bull/KTM Factory rider Ryan Dungey will sit out the Daytona Supercross after undergoing surgery this week to repair a broken collarbone.
Dungey, who currently sits second in the series point standings and has collected two Supercross class wins this season, suffered what was initially diagnosed to be a cracked collarbone when he slid out in a turn and landed on his shoulder while practicing at his training facility in Florida prior to the St. Louis Supercross.

Atlanta, GA – Red Bull/KTM Factory rider Ryan Dungey secured his second win of the season at the eighth round of the AMA Supercross Series in front of the sold out crowd of 70,000 fans at the Georgia Dome. It was KTM’s second win in this highly competitive class.

Ryan Dungey on Podium Again in San Diego
Red Bull/KTM Factory rider Ryan Dungey put his KTM back on the podium at the sixth round of the AMA Supercross Series in San Diego’s Qualcomm Stadium to register his fifth podium. He is currently third in the season’s standings and trails leader Ryan Villipoto by just 10 points.
