Inside this issue… Summer is a magical time in the moto industry, the weather is nice, the riding is great and the next year models start to be released. The latter could very well be the best part, especially when you get to go to Italy to test out some of these new models, and that is just what we did for the 2014 Beta line of off-road bikes... Those were not the only 2014 models that we got to test, Yamaha also launched its 2014 YZ250F and 450F this summer. We sent Brad Coles up to Sand Del Lee to throw his leg over these all new models... At the tail end of summer is the Walton TransCan, and we once again headed up to the famous Walton Raceway to take in all the amateur action, as well as the final race of the 2013 CMRC season... We also continue to bring you our regular columnists Jason Frenette, Steve Matthes, Shelby Turner and Victoria Hett… Plus much more. Click here or call (416) 962-7223 to subscribe.

Last race of the year! Yorkton had a great turn out. We saw quite a few riders from Saskatchewan, Alberta and Manitoba come out and enjoy the nicely prepped track in Yorkton. The 1 inch rain shower from the preceding day helped the track hold its beautifully groomed form. Rick Bradshaw from Schrader Motors with some help from Jesse Kwasnicia did the race announcing for the day. They did a fantastic job in keeping the fans and racers informed of the day’s events and action has it happened on the track.
