Graham Jarvis won the inaugrial King of the Motos, a desert style enduro race that took place yesterday in the Lucerne Valley. The event was the child of a collaboration between the wildly popular Ultra4's King of the Hammers, a 4x4 off road race, and Jimmy Lewis. The invite only event had no entry fee, but a $10,000 grand prize for the winner. That'd be Jarvis, if you weren't listening.

The organizers billed the event as a combination of "high speed, desert style baja riding and extreme rock terrain that will rival Erzberg."

To take home the top title, Jarvis had to beat out some tough competition, including Kurt Casselli, Destry Abbott, Cody Webb, Kyle Redmond and, the only Canadian on the invite list, Cory Graffunder.

Results:
1 - Graham Jarvis
2 - Kyle Redmond
3 - Destroy Abbott
4 - Tim Roeble
5 - Cody Webb
6 - Jimmy Jarrett

I realize "Top 6" is an odd number, but in reality, these six men are the only ones to have competed the event in the alotted time. Impressive? Very.

Jarvis had an impressive season in 2011 and it looks like 2012 is off to a great start as well. Congratulations, Graham!
