The RTR Performance/KTM rider was an obvious contender, having won the 2011 Desert 100, but many were loathe to bet against Kamo in the desert terrain.
Prochnau proved his merit, however, and pushed himself to the top of the podium making his sponsors, and his fans north of the boarder, very proud.
