Leading Edge Monster Energy Kawasaki continued their dominance of the CMRC Monster Energy Motocross Nationals as the series rolled into the Wildrose MX Park in Calgary Alberta.

Brett Metcalfe blitzed his was to his second consecutive MX1 clean sweep of the season to convincingly win Round 3 of the Monster Energy Motocross Nationals at Wild Rose MX Park in Calgary, AB on Sunday.

Colton Facciotti convincingly put his Red Bull/Fox/Royal Distributing/KTM into the MX1 winner's circle with a clean sweep at Round 1 of the Monster Energy Motocross Nationals in Nanaimo, BC on Sunday.

With just a handful of days to go, the clock is ticking down fast to the start of 2013 Monster Energy Motocross Nationals and everybody is eagerly anticipating the first drop of the gate. A proud title sponsor of the CMRC sanctioned nationals since 2007, Monster Energy Beverage Company's support has allowed the series to take huge strides forward in any number of areas, and is a brand that has become synonymous with motocross not just in Canada, but in the United States and Europe as well.

Tucked away in the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia, near Kentville is the Mill Hill Motocross Park, which hosted the second stop on the 2013 CMRC Atlantic Motocross Series on May 19th. The weather was a big concern of many. The day before the race, cold, wet and windy conditions hammered the area, including snow in many parts of the province. But on race day blue skies and warm temperatures greeted racers. The beautiful Mill Hill track offered new challenges this year, with an extended starting chute which challenged racers and several new corners and jumps. Below is a quick summary of how the day turned out. Be sure to check out the next Atlantic CMRC motocross race on Saturday June 8th at the Riverglade Motocross Park, located outside Moncton, NB.

Over 300 racers made their way to the Glade for the opening of the Atlantic CMRC Spring Series on Saturday May 4th. The day started out with some cool temperatures, it was only 4 degrees during practice, however, by the afternoon it had warmed to beautiful 18 degrees. It was a very successful start to the Atlantic CMRC Spring Motocross Series.

Schrader’s Hard Charger Award- $200.00 Awarded to the competitor with the “never-give up” attitude; who has fought to overcome and succeed over challenges throughout the series.

Cycle North Most Improved Rider Award- $200.00 Awarded to the competitor who has consistently improved their skills from the previous years, stood out, and worked hard to achieve their goals.

LimeNine Speed & Style Award – A set of 20 mil custom shrouds and matching backgrounds ($250.00 value) Awarded to the rider with the gnarliest riding style! If you can throw down like a champ, you’re gonna have to look like a champ!

The Turner Family will be donating a Championship Ring to the Women’s West Canadian Champion!

KNV Chartered Accountants LLP Giving $300.00 towards the series purse!

 For those of you who don’t know, we had a close friend from our moto family pass away last year. The rest of his family is still very involved in motocross, with his sister Charity looking to compete in the Women’s Series again this year. Carline & Gary Bachman were ever so kind enough to donate $1,000.00 to our series purse from the Lucas Bachman Memorial Fund. They want the money going to something he would want to be a part of, and Carline stated it best when she said “Lucas loved girls”.

 If you haven’t seen the Bracelets we had made “Supporting Women’s MX” or the desk top and wall calendars we are making be sure to pick some up at any of the 3 Women’s West Rounds. We will have a booth set up on the Saturday Amateur Day & Sunday Pro Day of each Round. Bracelets are $5.00 desk top calendars are $10.00, and wall calendars are $20.00. All of the profits will be going towards our West Series Purse.

  Last, but not least, the 2013 Women’s West Series is presented by TRIM FX! We wanted to step it up this year by looking more professional, so with the help of TRIM FX we will have BIG Cheques to hand out for our Holeshot Awards, Individual Awards, and we will have a sponsor background for our booth. Not only that, but they are throwing in some cash for the series purse!!!
